The San Diego victory was the first AVP Finals win for the team of Tyra Turner and Rachel Wacholder. This was Tyra's first AVP tour championship win and the sixth AVP championship for Rachel.

How did winning her first AVP tour event feel to Tyra?

"I must say winning felt completely different than I thought. I was fine until match point. I had this huge rush of adrenaline and butterflies filled my stomach. Thank goodness we sidedout, because my entire body got numb." -Tyra Turner
